Awful company - Hgv Driver BioMarsh Environmental Employee Review

They offer a high pay for admin.

Interview was surprisingly easy for a job with this pay. Was offered the job on the spot. Arrived for my induction, not one person would tell me what I was supposed to do. There’s no reception. I was palmed on someone. Eventually, running late, a man came to get me for my induction. He informed me he was high up in the company so therefore I wouldn’t see much of him. In this induction, he was speaking sexually and very degradingly about the other women employees. In this day and age of equality, women should not be disrespected like that especially in a workplace. Moving forward there was a lot wrong with this company. There was no training. I was informed I had to watch someone do the job for a day before having to do it my self alone. There is not management structure. My ‘line manager’ if that is what you can call him had no people skills. Didn’t make him self known or attempt to teach or train me. All I got from him was that I was expected to lie to the companies who contract this employer so they’d still pay out despite the work not being completed because of BioMarsh. I was expected to treat the drivers poorly and I could not work in this environment as it is not respectful.

- due to the nature of the job when attending emergency’s, it sometimes takes a while to get a plan in place for relief. However it is sorted.
