Little room for career progression and terrible pay - Anonymous employee BioMed Central Employee Review

Many staff are frustrated with the low salaries and disillusioned with the lack of career development. The reason for the company being so young is due to the high turnover of staff; most tend to be university leavers who get experience and move on. Little is done to retain talent. My two plus years there saw very little change in wage on an already low salary despite a very large increase in work and responsibilities.
