Cons
New company BioMedix has come on to purchase BioSTAT. Although the sale has yet to go through, Biomedix management team has taken over the daily management since May of 2023. In this short period of time, BioSTAT has changed drastically. There is constant favoritism for new employees that have been brought on by the Biomedix management team. This creating unfairness & blatant favoritism, to those who have been apart of BioSTAT for years. The COO & Direct of Client Services, consistently brush employees under the rug when they ask for simple things, such as clarification on expectations, outline of responsibilities of roles, simple request that can be given to any employee, any position. The favoritism for anyone hired on by Biomedix, leaving BioSTAT employees in the dark or creating a bad guy person when concerns are brought to HR/upper management. As anyone knows, when a company is moving in to acquire or merge with another business, there will be changes. However, the lack of leadership from upper management, the disrespect shown to BioSTAT employees, and consistent “I will get back to you on that” with absolutely no follow up, has created a negative & toxic work environment.
