Pros

The pharmacy side of the business is doing many things right. Leadership is engaged, approachable, and genuinely listens to employees. People are treated with respect and equality regardless of gender, and it shows in how teams collaborate and support one another. Unfortunately, the corporate side of the organization is a very different experience. On the surface, it presents itself as a “kumbaya,” feel-good culture full of slogans like #BestTeam. But once you look past that surface, the environment becomes toxic. It is marked by pettiness, passive-aggressive behavior, and gaslighting that erodes trust and morale. The disconnect between what is preached and what is practiced is stark. For women in non-leadership corporate roles, the culture is especially discouraging. Contributions are often overlooked, and the unspoken expectation seems to be to remain seen but not heard. This is particularly disappointing because the two owners are genuinely kind people who once treated employees as if they truly mattered. As the company grew and they stepped back, new leadership was brought in to help scale the business. Unfortunately, several individuals in leadership and HR roles—both existing and newly hired—have had a negative impact on the culture. The values of equality, inclusion, and “employees matter” were quickly replaced with favoritism and politics. It is very clear that HR leadership prioritizes personal agendas over people. It is also impossible to ignore the issues within IT leadership. The environment is heavily male-dominated, and women are expected to “act accordingly” to survive. Several women have either quit, moved into different roles, or been exited from the company with little to no explanation. From early on, it has been clear that the wrong people are leading IT, and those decisions are costing the company millions. This is especially difficult to sit back and watch, knowing how genuinely amazing and well-intentioned the owners are. This review is not written to discourage someone from joining the company, but to provide an honest account of what working here is actually like today. Many employees have grown tired of seeing #BestTeam advertised everywhere when, in large parts of the organization, that culture no longer exists. Consider this a buyer beware — look beyond the slogans, ask the hard questions, and decide with clear eyes.

Pros

Compensation is decent, benefits are okay. A lot more coverage for medication and mental health.

Cons

Leadership (PM, DM, SPM) are ineffective leaders. They don't know how to lead teams and barely understand what technology is available to utilize.

Pros

Work at your own pace

Cons

They have gone downhill. Used to be a great company to work for. Now everything is about money, you have to be popular to move up, and leaders are barely present for their people. My one on one has been rescheduled multiple times. I do not really mind, as I know that nothing I say will matter anyways. They expect high performance, but keep making cuts. They say this year is about performance but won’t invest in their staff. The senior team thinks that they are celebrity’s going “on tour” and running meetings like people should be excited about it, while they are left with the every day operations. Raises are not even keeping up with inflation. If you want growth, steer clear.
