Pros

Genuinely, honestly fantastic place to work. My experience has been of a company that is stable, earnest, no politics, very little drama. Leadership genuinely seems to care about employee quality of life and growth and takes the initiative to reach out and check in with people. Company is doing very well and I've seen it turn down work rather than burn out employees or put them in bad positions. Culture is also one that encourages asking for help and making mistakes - the attitude when problems arise is ACTUALLY "how do we fix this?", never "whose fault is it?" Just a really excellent atmosphere. Also. Bonuses are excellent. Don't know what it was like years back, but can't recommend it enough today.

Cons

Mid-sized company communication pains - sometimes there can be a lack of transparency around decisions and policies. Like any pharma MR firm, it can get busy/stressful at times.

Pros

-You are given opportunities to develop and grow your career as much (or as little) as you want. BioVid is full of people who truly enjoy mentoring and building up more junior employees, instead of hoarding knowledge and clients. -The people are brilliant and have diverse backgrounds (and no ego). You get to work alongside PHDs, practicing psychologists and clinicians who are still actively involved in the research. -You are enabled to do world class research without the hurdles and red tape in other organizations. BioVid is growing rapidly, which gives a ton of opportunity while still being nimble.

Cons

-I honestly can’t think of any. It’s difficult work, but you wouldn’t be in this industry if you weren’t smart. The workload ebbs and flows, which is typical for market research. I usually have slow periods in the summer and get busy in the winter (or whenever the client’s fiscal year is ending). BioVid does a really good job of balancing the workload though, no one is ever stuck working a 70 hour week while others clock 40. -Diversity needs more work, but the company is making active efforts here. It’s an industry-wide issue.
