Pros
My duties involved organizing bird products that had been stored away and helping out with the cleanup. I had a lot of fun doing this and me and the managers kept up a good spirit despite what happened. In better times, the shop is very cheery. The birds are well taken care of and they are very happy as a result. The staff is knowledgeable and you can tell that they know a lot about birds. Probably the biggest highlight of Bird Mania is their mascot Oliver, a loquacious Scarlet Macaw who is often out of his cage. The former owner also occasionally brings her tame dogs in the shop as well, which is a treat because they love to be petted.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. Everything was done right and I was inspired by the devotion that management had to the birds. It's due to their quick thinking that all the birds survived the crash and the shop got repaired as fast as it did.
