Pros

Not Much if anything to list here. There are some smart motivated people who they hire and help to make work tolerable, but the average life span of a sales agent is about 3-4 months.

Cons

Extremely high turnover rate, management is looking to make money and has very little invested in his employees. No such area for job growth or making a career. Average life span of a sales consultant is about 3-4 months. Massive layoffs are common and expected yearly since management cannot figure out how to pay/treat/invest in employees, but rather use them for every penny they can squeeze out and then fire them. I would stay away from working here unless you are in DESPERATE need of a job. I found out they paid a few employees to write positive things on Glassdoor, so please do your research before you go in for a job interview. You're expected to work weekends, nights and holidays. Work'Life balance can be very frustrating, you're only given 30 minute paid lunch and expected to be on the phones the remaining 7.5 hours. Use of bathrooms is by permission only

Pros

Some of the people are great to work with. The hours I had were awesome. The commission on a good week was ok. The dress code was comfortable and lax. The prizes that they have for contests are pretty amazing. Outside of that, there isnt much.

Cons

Some of the Leads/ Asst, Leads really need to learn the proper way to talk to people. The hourly rate is a joke. The commission structure is a joke, Sterling Commerce Group is a joke. Someone else can do the same thing, talk to people however they want and have no disciplinary action at all. You do something, and you are immediately fired. There are people here that will intentionally leave you out of special events that they organize. Oh, and watch out if you do get let go, they will keep some of your belongings and not let you come pick it up. They want to ship it to you. What a joke. Also, they will all but tell the company in an email why you either left or were let go. I thought that was confidential information.
