The history that the inn hold is unique which initially attracted me to work here and I’m glad I did. At the black boy you feel although you are a big family which creates an amazing atmosphere and a fun environment to work. When ever I have any issues (personal/non-personal) I know whom to reach out to as they are always understanding. You are given so many opportunities to further your skill which gave me so much confidence and personal development.

The Black Boy Inn has become a big establishment over the years which mean at times it can become overwhelming. The volume of people that we serve everyday can be extremely stressful and effect our mental health, especially since covid appeared. Certain staff only sticking to one department instead of moving from one to another depending on the day. Live Tech posting irrelevant content to our social media, there is so much more going on at the black boy that we could be posting about.
