Pros

The management and sales team are savvy and there's some smart tech people there too. I enjoyed my time with Blerter and was glad to be able to get involved in a diverse range of tech with a diverse range of people. The company are also flexible around family demands which is a plus.

Cons

No centrally located office at the time of writing.

Pros

Blerter is a great company to work for - the event space is really interesting to be a part of and its always exciting working for a funded startup that's growing quickly. People are the most important part of any role, so its great to see that a lot of effort has been put into recent hiring to ensure a supportive, collaborative environment - but one that is motivated and driven to win. Lots of great opportunities are being created as the company grows, so there's never a time where there isn't something new to learn or a chance to try something new.

Cons

There have been a few pivots over the past few years - some people might struggle with that if they are used to more structured/corporate style environment. With the pandemic we moved to a combination remote/in person environment but hopefully we will look at new office space again in the future.

Pros

The company is small enough to be across everything that is happening, commercial and product-related, while being big enough to have people to work with and share ideas with. As the company is setting up a physical operation in North America, there are opportunities to learn a lot (and quickly), and be able to adopt a fail-fast attitude with new ideas and strategies. The team is quite young overall, but has a couple of very experienced entrepreneurs in the leadership team. There are lots of shared morning teas, beer+pizza Fridays, and whole-company workshops and knowledge sharing sessions.

Cons

Lack of parking available to staff (in a high-density business area).
