Pros
- People and coworkers are genuinely very nice
- Work-life balance is great
Cons
- For a company that promotes "transparency", they will keep making you think like the company is doing okay, when in reality layoffs are just around the corner. Most of the US branch has been laid off due to the company's inability to execute on its goals.
- Leadership and Product does NOT know what they are doing, they look like they are just making blind guesses. For example releasing "stories" to the mobile app only to realize months later that it was useless. Or pivoting the entire company to focus on cloning LinkedIn Jobs, only to realize they can't actually compete. They keep pushing for massive features that provide no real value. No wonder they are forced to do lay offs.
- Major difficulties working with the Korean side of the company, there is just a massive language and cultural gap there.
- There is not enough structure to keep the CEO in-check, nobody is willing to push back on his bad ideas. Most of the PM's are all inexperienced and don't know any better
