Pros

-Remote work -Some people are genuinely good people

Cons

Like others have noted, there is a lot wrong here. 1. In the last 9 years, they have *never* released a product, ever. 2. There are routine layoffs. Every 6 months-1 year, expect a large scale layoff. 3. Senior executive leadership have absolutely no idea how to build a company or a product. They constantly shuffle priorities based on gut-feeling and absolutely *no* market research. 4. There is an "in crowd" at this company that can do nothing wrong. They are tight with the "CEO" and could care less about the people who get laid off. The majority of this in crowd also have no idea how to build or release a product. 5. This is a company called "Blockchains" that has no blockchain. 6. The equity is a joke. 7. You are constantly monitored and watched. 8. If HR decides they don't like you and you don't have a manager to protect you, good luck. 9. If they tell you we are a "web3" company - don't believe them. There is nothing web3 about this at all. 10. If you try to swing out and try to build something right, you'll almost certainly get sabotaged and then eventually laid off or you'll be so miserable you'll want to quit.

Pros

100% remote work and very talented teams to work with.

Cons

Every negative review here is accurate, ignore the sole 5-star one for obvious reasons. This company is run by a CEO/Founder and his inner circle of friends/ex-coworkers, none of whom seem to know how to manage or grow a business effectively. Despite being around for 8+ years, they've made no progress in deploying any product. The company has had so many great product ideas and an ambitious vision, only for the CEO to abruptly scrap everything, lay off entire departments, and decide to start over from scratch. Layoffs are an annual tradition here, each year another department, and in the last round the entire company, or just about, is gone. It’s a pattern that seems sustainable only because the CEO is personally wealthy. Adding to the dysfunction, the company's NDAs and non-compete clauses are laughable. They attempt to enforce non-competes, which are illegal in many states (and even punishable in some). It’s absurd considering there's no actual product to compete against. Even worse, they forbid employees from mentioning they were laid off—another violation of legal standards. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this company. There are far better opportunities out there. No 401k matching No health insurance coverage for the first 3 months 10 days PTO (including sick time, bereavement, or jury duty) Minimum holidays paid No compensation for internet or career classes The benefits list is so short that they had to add "casual dress" as a benefit even though everyone was remote!
