Pros

- There are many very talented artist and producers who genuinely care about the work and the team - You’ll learn how much you’re capable of under pressure

Cons

What could have been an inspiring, fast-paced environment quickly devolves into a chaotic and demoralizing workplace, where basic professional boundaries and respect for employees' time are treated as optional. Employees are expected to remain perpetually available even outside of the far too common long hours. Lunch breaks are regularly interrupted with less than urgent tasks and impromptu meetings, which means staff members are expected to either stay on premises at all times or skip lunch entirely. Weekend work and overtime are unfortunately the norm and almost never compensated for. Junior staff are handed enormous responsibility and are left to teach themselves critical skills because seniors are too overworked to provide mentorship. It’s framed as a career accelerator, but in reality, it’s a fast track to burnout and disillusionment. The company's ambitious attempts to scale have been hindered by a leadership structure that refuses to delegate, yet fails to provide consistent involvement. With the two founders unable to relinquish control, but also rarely present enough to offer timely feedback. The result is predictable: delayed notes, missed meetings, and critical directions arriving far too late in the day to be useful, often as employees are preparing to leave for the night. Office culture is as bleak as the workflow. When it comes to diversity and inclusion, this company lags behind. Female employees, in particular, are held to impossible standards, only to be quietly pushed out once they burn out or start asking for what they're due. Management has cultivated a hostile environment that operates under a constant state of fear, zeroing in on individuals without warning. When issues arise, which is often, their first priority is to point fingers and assign blame rather than work towards any actual solutions. This blame culture trickles down to staff, who often feel they must deflect responsibility just to avoid becoming the next target. Perhaps most telling is the way company resources are allocated. A well-stocked bar is less a team perk and more a backdrop for management’s personal parties. Social events under the guise of "client networking" that feature the same recycled group of industry friends. Leadership then arrives late the next day, visibly hungover, unengaged, and out the door again by mid-afternoon. In short, this company operates less like a professional studio and more like a vanity project, propped up by overworked staff, unclear leadership, and a disturbing disregard for basic workplace ethics. For those considering employment here, proceed with caution, and know your worth.

Pros

A lot of extremely talented artists and producers who genuinely care

Cons

- A business that prioritises profit and client outcomes, with staff well-being often taking a back seat. - Career development is not a strong focus for upper management, who at times opt for cost-cutting measures that can result in experienced staff leaving, only to be replaced with juniors whose training is passed on to senior team members. - A reactive, “putting out fires” approach is part of the everyday culture. - When issues arise, there can be a tendency to focus on assigning blame rather than addressing the underlying leadership and management challenges. - Upper management, in some cases, lacks the experience needed to fully support the team and operations.
