Pros

The product is kinda cool, but only if you are into this kind of thing

Cons

The CEO (Steve) and President (John) (in my opinion) are completely on two different sides of the coin, going in two separate directions. You will always get a different answer from each of them, and depending on what you are doing can figure out quickly which one to go to for which answer you want. Bad "Executive" Management - The President is a bit of a BS artist (in my opinion,) and I'm not quite sure how he even fell into this role, it's not by experience in leading a company. He will tell you one thing, then forget about telling you to do something, then question why you did it in the first place. You have to listen to his god awful jokes, and he thinks he is hilarious so there are a ton of them. He doesn't know the product very well, thinks everyone in the industry adores him, and is basically just flying by the seat of his pants right now. If the collectible industry wasn't in an upswing right now, (in my opinion) I can't imagine he would be able to successfully lead this company. Disorganized - The sales department is completely disorganized (in my opinion from working with other sales professionals,) and run by kids. There are no college grads here, and all the account executives are pretty young getting paid a low hourly rate. They think its great to making $13.00/hr, and spend all their money on the company's products. One of the sales managers is really nice and actually a college grad, the other one is too, but he just sits slumped in his cubicle chair all day with that glassy look of corporate death on him waiting for the day he can finally roll into his six foot deep hole. Nobody in the office stands up for themselves, they just let the upper "executive" push them around, most likely because it is their first "real" job. Chickens with their heads cut off - The "brand" department, (in my opinion,) is always running around in circles going in a completely different direction than the sales division, so you have like 20 people all sitting next to each, all doing different things, going nowhere quickly. Travel Nightmares - God help your soul if you are asked to travel for the company. You will be bunked up with a roommate so the company can save money on a hotel room. I mean really??? You have to share a room with another grown man in a two star hotel!! Who even does that?? The President and CEO of course won't even stay there, they will be shacked up miles away in a much nicer hotel. It's just disrespectful to your sales staff, breeds resentment, and counter productive in my opinion. Like I said, it is NOT a place for professionals. Cheap to the Core - They will book airfare, and hotels using miles so none of the flights can be changed (think take an earlier flight), they will stick in you in the middle seat of the airplane all the time so they can save the extra $35.00 upgrade for an aisle or window seat. God forbid you fly to New York with a window seat, and be somewhat comfortable. I mean comes off a plane pumped up to sell their product after all this? Always an expedition - You are always flying out of LAX even though John Wayne airport is way closer, and way easier to use. They regularly put you up in hotels with names you have never heard of. They don't treat you respectfully, so you don't give them 100%, its just Not a place for professionals. (in my opinion) NO work / life balance - you can't work at home ever for some reason, even though there is no real reason to be in the office when your kids are sick, or you need to be at home for a random day to deal with life issues. Once again, (in my opinion,) not a place for professionals. No long term employment - Nobody is really employed there for more than a year if that tells you anything. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses - The President keep siting "growing pains" but mis-management (in my opinion) is a more accurate description. Cash flow Problems - the Fedex bill doesn't get paid regularly, so they are always switching between UPS and Fedex, and a couple random shippers. They can't pay their overseas suppliers on time so trying to ship orders on time is always a problem. You of course always have to be making up excuses for the company as to why the customers shipment is late. It is only a matter of time until Payroll can't be met. Numerous business names - Nippon imports, Bluefin Distribution, Toy Japan on Amazon - they have their own store on Amazon, and under cut all their wholesale customers as well. Great business practice they have going.

Pros

Pretty much nothing unless you like working for cheap a CEO who just likes yelling at everyone and driving employees to the ground.

Cons

Don't work here. I promise you'll do better almost anywhere but here.
