Pros

Cant think of any now, since the CEO left and the whole place is now money over people. There are great people there but its falling apart quickly and they cant stop it.

Cons

Lots of promises no follow through. Just turned into another big corporation. Anyone that was there in the beginning and helped make the company great has abandoned ship for good reason.

Pros

Working at BOA provides a genuine sense of connection and community with people who are passionate about making the best products possible for use in the great outdoors. You can always find someone to join in any endeavor, whether mountaineering, throwing pottery, or volunteering to build and deliver bicycles for children. I am always impressed by the exploits, and hearts, of coworkers. BOA is a business founded on solving problems, and as such is teeming with critical thinkers and problem solvers. Individuals are constantly striving to design, engineer, and test the best solutions to improve performance. My favorite thing about working for BOA is that this is not reserved solely for BOA applications in footwear. Folks are happy to lend a hand, an ear, a shoulder, or other knowledge if it means solving a problem or addressing an issue inside or outside of work. The talent and compassion inside these walls is profound.

Cons

Sure, BOA has its challenges. Leadership strives to improve the lives of the employees, and there is a pretty great "total compensation" package that includes salary, healthcare, bonuses, stock options, health and wellness gifts, and other benefits. The salary no longer feels competitive, but is likely lacking industry-wide. Overall, the balance seems to swing in favor of Director-level and above, which can be frustrating. Still, it is a great place to work, and I challenge you to find a better group of people.
