I had the privilege of interning here this past summer, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. The Firm’s foundation in faith creates an uplifting and supportive culture where integrity and service are emphasized in every aspect of the work. The attorneys and staff are deeply committed to excellence, and I felt like I was contributing to meaningful work from day one. I was also impressed by the Firm’s embrace of new technologies, which not only improved efficiency but also enhanced collaboration and client service. It’s clear the leadership prioritizes staying ahead of industry trends to deliver the best results.

Culture of Negativity Boatman has a habit of trash-talking employees and other attorneys, which creates an unprofessional and negative work environment. This behavior makes it difficult to feel respected or valued, and it undermines team morale. Misleading Interview Process The firm was not transparent during the interview process and misrepresented what they offer. The actual job responsibilities and benefits were different from what was discussed in the interview. Lack of Consistency and Communication There is a significant lack of consistency in how cases are managed and how work is done, creating confusion and inefficiency. The firm also has a serious lack of communication, making it difficult to do your job effectively. To make matters worse, you are often blamed if you can't track down the partner for direction. Pushy and Unprofessional Behavior The partners are very religious and pushy about it in the workplace, which can make people uncomfortable. The firm also actively pushes employees to bury negative comments on Glassdoor, with many positive reviews being posted on the same days. This suggests that the positive reviews are not genuine and are part of a coordinated effort to hide the firm's real work environment, which is obviously more lies. Overall, the firm has numerous issues that make it a challenging and unsustainable place to work.
