No major cons. There are no politics, toxicity, or gossip. People feel safe to have difficult conversations and express their opinions. And people work really, really hard because everyone cares about growth and success. It's infectious in all the right ways. At the same time, this may not be the place for someone who prioritizes a rigid, 9-5 schedule. While I do believe there is an absolute respect for work-life balance at BoomPop (I rated it as a 5/5 below) people genuinely want to push hard and do great work. Sometimes (most of the time?) this requires less than rigid schedules. I'm more than okay with this way of work. It's why I joined a startup, right?
