Pros

Located in a decent area with some good local amenities. Some colleagues are genuinely passionate about their work.

Cons

Management Disconnect: The senior management, especially the CEO, seems to be out of touch with the day-to-day challenges faced by employees. Their decisions often come off as uninformed or driven purely by personal motives. Culture Issues: Despite the outward appearance of being a modern, progressive company, the internal culture is lacking. There’s a lot of politics, backstabbing, and a lack of transparency that makes the work environment stressful. Work-life Balance: The expectation to work long hours without any corresponding appreciation or remuneration is a big negative. The whole "do more with less" mentality is pervasive. Limited Growth Opportunities: Advancement seems to be based more on personal relationships than on merit or performance. Many talented individuals end up feeling stuck or underappreciated, especially new hires. Compensation: The pay is below industry standards for similar roles in the area. Benefits are also minimal, with little to no effort made to improve them in response to feedback. Advice to Management: To truly make Boosted Commerce a desirable place to work, it’s essential to listen to your employees, address the cultural issues, and ensure that compensation matches the hard work and dedication shown by the team. Right now, it's clear, you don't care.

Pros

Empowered with Trust // Employees are trusted to take ownership of their work. Respectful Culture // Everyone is treated with professionalism and respect. Supportive Leadership // Managers value input and foster growth. Collaborative Environment // Teamwork and open communication are encouraged. Work-Life Balance // Flexible policies that support personal well-being. Innovative Mindset // A culture that embraces creativity and new ideas. Positive Morale // Encouraging and uplifting workplace atmosphere. Strong Values // Integrity and fairness are at the company’s core. Diverse & Inclusive // Everyone feels valued and included.

Cons

The only downside is that the pay rates aren’t as competitive as one might hope, especially given the higher cost of living in the areas where many employees are based. It’s an area where the company could improve to better match the value of its fantastic workplace culture.

Pros

Fully remote Unique business model Nice variety of brands and products to work on

Cons

Leadership doesn’t care about their employees, laying off loyal employees who did an excellent job, made big impacts, and gave it their all. They don’t trust you Creativity and innovation is not rewarded. No room for upward mobility. Don’t expect any promotions or raises, they don’t do that Questionable moves on leadership part, they’re still learning the space and don’t want to defer to their employees who understand it Not much cross functional support unless leadership prioritizes it *Edit* looks like their team is doing damage control, eg recent reviews by “anonymous” employees refuting some previous statements, so here are more details for context: Yes there was a time when this company was an exciting startup - 2 years ago, but since then due to reasons both out of their control and self inflicted the company has been on a decline. Much of the top talent has left for greener pastures over the years as nobody wants to be on a sinking ship Yes they do police your time, (check previous reviews), so if you’re not responsive when they check in on you, you better have a concrete reason (with proof) even if you’re fully productive and handle all your tasks Innovation and creativity were once recognized, but the company is now run as an old school corporation where employees are expected to simply do as they’re told and fill a role Some members of the leadership team are petty, and if you cross paths with them (disagree) you will get the boot
