I had a great time working with the engineers and GTM team, great people all around. I was given the opportunity on impactful cross-functional projects, including a full website redesign. Freedom to lead design initiatives and shape the brand identity. Hands-on experience across multiple disciplines—branding, UI/UX, product design, web design.
Cons
Management completely ghosted me for my last three months—no communication, no direction, nothing. When they finally laid me off, it came without warning or transparency, followed by lies to cover their tracks. There was no design leadership or respect for the process, leaving me to figure everything out alone while being spread thin across the entire company. My salary and title didn’t reflect the scope of my responsibilities, and decision-making was disorganized—often reactive rather than strategic, with major changes happening without any notice. Management knowingly takes advantage of employees’ passion, extracting as much as possible while offering little support or real growth opportunities. The company is nearly eight years old yet still clings to the “startup” narrative to justify instability and lack of structure.
