Pros

This place used to be a dream to work for, everyone was happy. Now however since a take over from close shores this place has now really helped me get my life in order. Sometimes you need a wake up call. And working here since the take over was mine. I got clean, gave up the late night working (for free) and had pride in the person looking back at me in the mirror again. The free time I was spending locked into what is now a shell of the company it was I now have back. Although this means spending more time with the wife so the feelings are mixed :) If at any point in my life going forward I feel that I have truly hit rock bottom then, I'll definitely give this place another shot. Or if I get desperate enough for money.

Cons

None. I really do think this place genuinely saved my life. I suppose the zero rewards and benefits of working here thing gets to you after a while. But rewards and benefits often offer hope to those who should not hope for better things! If you work here then hope kills, especially any dreams and aspirations. HR could do with some lessons in legal matters as they appear to like leaving the door open wide for a large amount of expenditure. But hearing the news that the canteen and toilets being decorated were the only spot of recent levity in a miserable and downtrodden part of my working life here. So probably best to leave it as it is. I know conviction was not meant as "Cons" but it would be remiss of me not to mention the senior management above. As they are all indeed lacking in any conviction or spine in fairness. They are cons, both in noun and the verb.
