Pros

Well the stores close at six and it is relatively easy to get hired. Due to high turnover you can move up quick. For the most part you work with good people.

Cons

They are more focused on sales so they will hire any body even if you don't know much about cars. The training you get is not very good, it's pretty much, look it up on the Internet and YouTube. You only get one day off a week, and you get moved around so much that you can't stay at a store long enough to get your bonus. That is by design, as a manager you are pretty much there to open and close the doors. High turn over makes it hard to run a store and low pay for the techs and management don't entice anyone to stay for longer than it takes to find another job. You get advice from upper management that either a) has never really worked in this industry or b) was at your position at one time but was so bad at that job they got promoted to a different position because techs kept walking out on them. Even though they say at the time they hire you is "we don't do engine work " you will be asked to take that job, because brake jobs, oil changes, and alignments only get you so much.
