Pros

- Usually pretty easy, pressures are rarely placed by management and if are not enforced - Lax place to work with often very cool projects happening around you - Pre-covid Tech Lunch + Pizza weekly - Really hard to get fired even if you are caught sexually harassing fellow employees/interns - Intern program looked cool and paid $20+ an hr - if you can stand-up for yourself or work extremely hard management will love you and you will have a lot of positive attention

Cons

- No career path - Will not listen to you unless you threaten to leave - "Nice things" only happen around the New Year like new hardware since CEO doesn't know his own budgets - Everything goes through the CEO still - Managers literally had a fist fight.... - No Sales infrastructure - if your not a Dev don't even apply unless you only need a job for a year - Really hard for underperforming team members to be let go, forcing their burden of work into other team members - Top talent need to make their own oppurtunites at the job or just accept they will not grow in capabilities - No post mortems, projects starting with a lead assigned, and most projects (not the breadwinners) never leave the MVP stage - CEO will actively lie in the interview process about where talent used to work and clients, both upcoming and current - The company was on the downterm as top talent started leaving in 2018 and 2020 cut the staff to a 3rd from layoffs, furloughs, and staff leaving - No company culture especially during Covid

Pros

Innovative Solutions: BrickSimple is known for delivering cutting-edge, customized software solutions. They are especially well-regarded for creating mobile apps, enterprise applications, and other technology solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses and organizations. Their ability to innovate and provide customized services is a key strength. Focus on Quality: Clients often commend BrickSimple for its attention to detail and its commitment to high-quality product development. Their solutions tend to be well-designed, user-friendly, and reliable, which is crucial for businesses that depend on their software to operate smoothly. Experienced Team: BrickSimple’s team of developers, designers, and technology experts is often described as highly skilled and knowledgeable. Their ability to handle complex projects, and their experience with a variety of technologies, allows them to provide value to businesses across different industries. Customer-Centric Approach: One of the company’s key selling points is its customer service. BrickSimple takes the time to understand the needs of its clients and provides personalized solutions that align with business goals. This customer-focused approach helps build strong, lasting relationships with clients. Flexibility and Scalability: The company is known for its flexibility in adapting to different project requirements and business needs. They can scale their services to meet the needs of small businesses or large enterprises, which allows them to work with a broad range of clients, from startups to established companies.

Cons

Size of the Company: As a relatively smaller firm, BrickSimple might not have the same extensive resources or global presence as some larger software development firms. This could limit its ability to take on very large-scale projects or offer a wide range of services compared to its larger competitors. Limited Industry Focus: While the company has experience in many sectors, it may not specialize in certain niche industries as some other larger firms do. Businesses seeking highly specialized services in very specific verticals might find that BrickSimple is more generalized in its approach. Potential for Growing Pains: Like many growing tech companies, BrickSimple may face challenges when scaling operations or managing an increasing number of projects. This could potentially lead to slower turnaround times or resource constraints, especially for clients with urgent needs. Global Reach: BrickSimple, while reputable within its region and industry, does not have the same global reach as larger multinational competitors. This might limit its influence in international markets or make it less attractive for clients who need a more widespread presence.
