Fairly good compensation and interesting domain area. The nice warm feeling of helping the people with severe illness is only slightly diminished by the relentless focus on doing whatever it takes to impress the company management, regardless of whether it actually helps anyone at all.

Very toxic atmosphere and incompetent middle management and supervisors (at least in the team I was on) who seem to think that the primary goal of subordinates is to be the outlet for their - many! - insecurities. If you're looking for lack of clear or any strategic guidance *and* micromanagement in insignificant details, if your ideal manager is someone who expects you to read their mind, if you enjoy being picked at for any minor issue while getting zero credit when things go well - look no further than BridgeBio!
