Business Outlook
Pros
Amazing mission (assisting some of the Nation's most vulnerable of populations). As it is with any job...it is what you make it. Love my coworkers, never dread coming to work every day. Complicated business model will stretch you to grow. Tons of room for advancement for the right folks.
Cons
Due to the populations served this can be a tough "gig", definitely not for everyone. Revenue is dependent on Medicaid reimbursement, so not a company that runs on a large margin (which means salaries aren't always the most competitive). Insurance costs are high, but that's unfortunately unavoidable thanks to Obamacare.
