Pros

The co-workers are nice. Pay was somewhat decent.

Cons

They started me off on a terrible old Macbook Pro and expected me to pump out videos quickly. They said that if I could "prove" myself, then they would get me a better computer while at the same time they were having me do graphic design work and 3d compositing that the computer couldn't handle. Whenever I would go into the owner's office to get feedback on a project, I would be berated by him telling me that I'm "wasting his time." After a while, I was berated again because I was taking too long on projects. When I finally stopped trying to keep the peace and defended myself, he called me an idiot and fired me on the spot.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience working at Brighter Image Lab. Like any company, it has its challenges, but overall I’ve found the environment to be supportive, fast-paced, and full of opportunities to grow. One thing that stands out is how much the company values its team members who are willing to take initiative. If you’re motivated and proactive, there’s definitely room to learn new skills and take on more responsibility. I’ve personally been able to grow both professionally and personally during my time here. The leadership team is very focused on results and maintaining high standards, which can be demanding at times, but it also creates a strong sense of purpose and accountability. When everyone is aligned, it makes for a really productive and rewarding workplace. The team culture is another highlight. I’ve worked with a lot of dedicated, driven coworkers who genuinely want to succeed and support each other. That kind of environment makes a big difference day-to-day. Overall, I’d recommend Brighter Image Lab to people who are self-motivated, adaptable, and looking for a place where they can push themselves and grow. It’s not a “coast” type of job, but for the right person, it can be a very rewarding experience.Overall, I’d recommend Brighter Image Lab to people who are self-motivated, adaptable, and looking for a place where they can push themselves and grow. Cons

If you are not a person who is devoted to their career, just a clock-puncher, or aren't a self-initiated type of person, this isn't the place for you.

Pros

- Decent pay after a year working there - friendly coworkers for the most part

Cons

- Extremely poor management - Paranoid, arrogant, and petulant owner who micro manages all aspects of the company and wants immediate results when he puts in no effort. - No real benefits, no insurance, no 401k, no PTO, only when said owner feels like giving them to you for being loyal after a year or so. - little direction but expected high output for almost no training or guidance. - awful remarks and comments made by owner whether racial, sexist, homophobic and close minded.
