Pros

They offer some fruit once a week

Cons

An unstructured demotivating family run business that treat their staff terribly. Business stuck in the dark ages No progression or structure – No training given, qualifications were promised and never delivered Ridiculous stand up meetings – Every morning we would have to stand in a circle and have to explain to the MD what our job is. This was a great opportunity for him to embarrass and humiliate staff in front of other colleagues on a daily basis. No benefits – had numerous meetings to try to improve the benefits and perks but none implemented so was just a waste of time. MD gives false promises of bonus schemes but again all just talk. High Staff Turnover - Since my time at the company I have watched so many staff members leave. Hostile and uncomfortable office environment and no sense of working in a team. Fake positive Glassdoor reviews have been posted by the company to cover up the truth, please ignore these.

Pros

I wish I could think of any.

Cons

This is the worst company I have ever worked for. I witnessed grown adults crying due to the way they were treated whilst working here. The was a toxic culture verging on bullying. It wasn't a good experience.

Pros

Some good employees who are truly passionate about education, and making a difference in students/school staff lives.

Cons

People: Colleagues simply don't show up to meetings and keep their cameras off. I find this quite unique that its part of the culture to not show up, not send any comms about not being able to attend. Culture: Pure toxic: most managers play games to avoid any blame if something goes wrong. When something goes right, everyone wants the credit/makes it their idea. Managers are basically absent for employees, which makes it challenging to know where to focus your attention. To highlight how blame works at Bromcom - I had something stolen from my desk whilst I visited the toilet, the company’s response was that I should have taken my possessions with me (thus, being my fault for not adhering to the company’s guidance). Etiquette: Colleagues simply don't show up to meetings and keep their cameras off (even with customers!) I find it quite unique that its part of the culture to not show up, not send any comms about not being able to attend. The company accepts it and doesn’t seem to care even about the staff's waste of time. Tech: As a company, they cannot build and maintain the basics. The system consistently crashes, and customers always complain - there's no urgency to fix these issues. HR: I wouldn’t bother communicating with them - zero care given.
