Pros
It’s really empowering to make things by hand and it becomes quite the creative outlet. Customers are almost all pleasant due to the nature of the job. You’ll go home smelling nice, and if there’s an event (especially for kids) you can feel like you made someone’s day special.
Cons
The work will never be completed. Balancing inventory, quality management, cleanliness, and customer service (plus SALES) is an impossible juggling task that will never satisfy management and will never make you feel like you deserve a break. Animosity can quickly grow among the team if it feels like the workload is distributed unevenly and support is not offered. Live in fear of management nitpicking you via camera and mystery shops ruining your workflow and reputation.
