Pros

The work culture between peers is wonderful. Everyone outside of management is hard working and supportive. The location is great for Seattle and parking is free.

Cons

Management is not involved. They do not set goals or timelines and give you no direction, then tell you that your performance is lacking. Management does not lead by example. You will be ridiculed and punished for being 1 minute late and/or not notifying the team when they are consistently late and never notify the team. There are an extreme amount of double standards and this company will fail very very soon.

Bulk FR8 Response

It is the expectation that all of our employees report to work, on time regularly. For the individual who wrote this post, there was a sufficient amount of resources devoted to making sure they understood the seriousness of our policies and that continued failures could lead to termination. It is the opinion of management, to which this reviewer seems to be concerned with, that the schedules of managers can frequently require time out of the office to meet with clients and conduct other affairs. Management is almost never late without cause and is concerned by "millennial" opinions like these and their prevalence in today's workforce. Entry level employees do not get to make their employers schedules and decide what is tardy.

Pros

On the job training and professional development is a focus. Bulk FR8 offers tuition reimbursement and bonuses for outside courses. The team is fun and management regularly shows its appreciation with quarterly team building events. Earning potential is never capped and the hardest workers and biggest producers are always compensated well.

Cons

Seattle is an expensive area to live

Pros

- Opportunity to learn about high-volume marketing and the liquid bulk freight industry - Learn a lot about how money makes people act less human

Cons

- Upper management has ethical issues i.e. you may not get paid based on your marketing results - You may hear snarky sayings from management like - "I’ll take it under advisement." & "I don’t pay you to think." - During my time this was a 100% commission based role - If you do build a lucrative book of business you may not be financially rewarded for your hard work and dedication - Overall deceitful & money hungry business practices - be careful if you're coming over from a previous brokerage!
