Pros

The managing attorney signs a paycheck.

Cons

This practice is extremely unethical. We were expected lie to clients. Total chaos was a common theme even before you put your car in park. It was common that holes were punched in doors and walls. There are no perks to this job. Job recruits are found at the Gym or the bar they go to for “lunch” which is 11-2 ish.

Pros

Sometimes legal assistants make breakfast. Drinking encouraged at work… if you’re into that. Legal assistant flashes breasts at work… also if you’re into that.

Cons

Great place to work if your goal is to make the partners money by doing all of their work while they are at boozy lunches for half the day only to not allow the associates that have been at work all day to leave at a reasonable hour (5pm). Their billing practices border on being unethical and fraudulent. The partners are child-like bullies and make fun of a particular employee behind his back. Partners also have legal assistants complete work for them and would sign off on documents without even proof reading them first.
