Pros

Flexibility: The only redeeming quality of working at CBS Sports is the flexibility it offers in terms of work hours and scheduling. This can be convenient for those seeking a non-traditional work-life balance.

Cons

Bro Culture: CBS Sports fosters a toxic bro culture that is pervasive throughout the organization. This results in a work environment that is highly competitive, exclusionary, and often dismissive of diverse perspectives and ideas. White Boys Club: The lack of diversity at CBS Sports is glaringly evident, with a predominantly white male workforce dominating the company. This homogeneity not only perpetuates biases and stereotypes but also stifles creativity and innovation. Toxic Working Environment: The atmosphere at CBS Sports is suffocating due to a toxic working environment. Employees frequently face bullying, harassment, and a lack of support from their colleagues. Such an environment breeds discontent, anxiety, and low morale. Incompetent Management: The management at CBS Sports is abysmal, displaying a complete lack of training and leadership skills. They fail to provide proper guidance, feedback, or support to their team members, contributing to an overall sense of confusion and disorganization. Overwhelming Number of Former ESPN Employees: The prevalence of former ESPN employees within CBS Sports creates a homogeneous work culture that stifles fresh perspectives and ideas. It seems as though the organization is more interested in replicating ESPN's model rather than fostering its own unique identity. Long Hours: CBS Sports demands long working hours from its employees, often exceeding the industry standards. This constant pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines and work extended hours takes a toll on work-life balance and personal well-being. Lack of Growth Opportunities: Despite the long hours and dedication, career growth prospects at CBS Sports are limited. The organization lacks a clear path for advancement, and employees often feel stuck in their positions with no room for professional development or upward mobility. Poor Work-Life Balance: Due to the demanding nature of the job, maintaining a healthy work-life balance at CBS Sports becomes challenging. The long hours, lack of support, and toxic environment can lead to burnout and negatively impact personal relationships outside of work.

Pros

Great crews to work with. Get to be on the field close to the action at sporting events.

Pros

Nothing at this point. We don't enjoy working here. The culture is toxic, the pay is low, you wouldn't know when your last day here is with layoffs and recent RTOs (soft layoffs)

Cons

I'd say stay away. Run. Don't look back. At the company now people don't even want to contribute or work very hard because the company made it very clear to them that they could be replaced at any point.
