Pros
-There are many people who are willing to train you in anything you need/want
-Coworkers are generally some of the nicest and smartest people
-The animals are well taken care of. Techs all show that they care about animal welfare.
-Knowlegeable study directors
Cons
-MANAGEMENT. Management cares little for the mental health of their employees, the main focus for the CEO and VP is profits.
-There is clear favoritism of people. For the vet staff manager, depending on their mood minor errors are brushed off or turned into a whole issue.
-You will more than likely have more pizza parties than actual raises
-Clique environment
-Supervisors expect perfection from their techs. If/when you mess up, depending on how much you are liked the reprimand may not actually be proportional to the error.
-They like to say they try to hire from within the company first when filling positions, but it seems they prefer hiring outside people instead.
