Pros

Agree with everything others have listed as Pros. Great compensation & benefits, great location, casual dress, some work from home privileges, and the company always makes money.

Cons

New I/T Leadership - one year in, and things have gotten really bad since the new I/T leaders have come in (along with their entire team). Definitely a double standard on how they treat the legacy CCC employees compared to the new people brought in by the CTO, and their people skills are quite poor. As a result, morale is very low and people are really unhappy. Projects are high stress, crazy timelines, long hours, etc. Corp Strategy - even though CCC does very well financially, annual growth is minimal. Every year there's a new strategy executed, and unfortunately none have been successful in really growing the company. Layoffs - 3 big ones in the last 2 years alone, so you're always on edge worrying about when your name will be called. Hard to work under a constant dark cloud. Sad because some really valuable people have been cut. Sales - insurance team never makes target ever. I/T is always used as an excuse. Accountability is very lacking. HR - Let's just say they are there to protect the company first and foremost. Confidential conversations have been known to be leaked to management, and they are always mining various job sites, etc looking for employees who might be "out there" looking for a new job. Big Brother is always watching. Personal growth - generally takes you many years to go up a job grade. Bigger promotions are based more on relationship with senior execs than on merit.

Pros

Remote work before it was popular. If you travel a lot fancy dinners and an essentially unlimited alcohol tab

Cons

An extremely sexist company. Not only in pay structure but in practice. You had to be part of the old boys drinking club to get ahead. I left after filing a sexual harassment claim and was asked if I only filed it because I was unhappy and they knew my anonymous responses. The person who harassed me was fired but only because it was caught on video, I left shortly after.
