Interesting work. Mike Graves has a wealth of experience which he was extremely happy to share. The insight into their business model was useful.

The relationship soured when I submitted my invoices. I'm still waiting for payment of one and just under half the other, dated 16th February and 18th March of this year respectively. I was promised a certain hourly rate prior to commencement and I invoiced even lower, realising that they were not in the strongest financial position yet thought they may well appreciate the discount rate I invoiced them at (£60/day for nine hours). Not long after chasing up the first invoice once two weeks late I was told that my rate of progress was insufficient. This does not feel coincidental, given that feedback on my work prior to that point was positive. I'm now behind with my mortgage due to this working period. I recommend staying well away from this company either as client or worker.
