Pros

Great 401k match. Fully remote work. Good technology. Overall, nice people. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Well, first of all, HR is atrocious. (I see you, HR. We all see you. I hope you’re one day held accountable for your poor performance.) HR are unprofessional, unresponsive, not accountable, and overall probably the worst part of working with CDCF. The interview and hiring process is extremely disorganized and chaotic. People are nice and well intentioned, but mostly just smiling and nodding while they do the bare minimum and collect their paycheck, so it’s hard to get much real work done. CDCF have more money than they know what to do with (especially at peak of COVID) so huge responsibility is given to inexperienced mid-level managers who talk in circles, have countless phone calls, but ultimately have no real vision or leadership and can’t offer much guidance. The feeling of a lot of managers at HQ is kind of like if a whole Atlanta sorority got hired to do public health and given way too much money to do it.
