This tiny place is ruled by 3-5 people in power. Good work is discouraged and will actually get you fired or pushed out sooner rather than later as you will be perceived as a threat to them. First, they will remove you from all your work. Second, they will exclude you from all meetings (including precious team building events with drinks/dance at midnight). Finally they will start threatening you with performance measures until you step down voluntarily. If you want to spend all your time gossiping in high school social events with them - go for it. Otherwise - run.
