Pros

Flexible schedule Ability to move around in departments

Cons

In my experience being a black woman with sensible questions my questions go unanswered by Human Resources, CEO, and Vice President. In my experience African Americans only seem to be promoted/shifted to a different department when they are walking away from the company! It’s 2021 and CDR is just now conducting diversity, equity, and inclusion training with only two women of color in director positions (which one was just made a director). Cdr talks the talk but is far from walking the walk—mainly because most people in the organization only want to keep one person of color in room at a time. This company hides when met with having productive conversations about; social issues pay increase, people doing the same work as you with higher titles and pay, the company culture (which really isn’t much of culture) more of Christoper Columbus when he landed on Native land.

Pros

Remote work Working with nonprofits is rewarding

Cons

For a company with so many remote employees, it is not very remote-forward. No reimbursement for office supplies, no internet or work from home stipend.
