Pros

Close to 35 Average to above average wages for area but low compared to Austin

Cons

I have worked at CFAN for a number of years and seen them go from a quality conscience company to one who only cares about numbers the problem is they build airplane parts and if they fail the workers themselves can be arrested. If you should ever need HR assistance let it be known that they are there only for one thing and that's to cover upper management. They sweep sexual harassment complaints under the carpet regularly and the CEO of the company has even been driven home because he's been too drunk, and recently was arrested for a DWI. They have no concerns for their workers family time and at the last minute tell you you'll be working all weekend or not working the weekend you were scheduled to. As of late there has been a rather large turnover of people in all positions I believe they are aware of the problems but just unwilling to change anything. They also have a lot of people making decisions who do not have the education or the background to make them but are very quick to point the fingers at people below them. If you're desperate and you do end up going there for employment make sure you get any promises in writing and even that might not help you because they're well-known for promising things and then never delivering on them. As you talk to people who have worked there for 10 or 20 years they even say they're Fed Up and seeking employment elsewhere. Once again my advice would be to avoid at all costs taking a position there.

Pros

I've had a great experience working at CFAN. The pay is decent and competitive for the industry, and the benefits package is impressive—covering everything from health and dental to generous PTO and retirement plans. One of the standout aspects is the flexibility in management. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. Work-life balance is genuinely respected, which is refreshing. The company is also in a strong growth phase, offering plenty of opportunities for career advancement. There's a clear path for professional development, and employees are encouraged to take initiative and grow with the company. Overall, it's a fantastic place to work, especially for those looking for a stable yet dynamic environment with room to build a long-term career.

Cons

There is commonly OT, but almost always voluntary
