Pros

The office location is good. And some of the colleagues are really nice, good people.

Cons

The 'leadership' of the Hong Kong office is pretty unstable. Every time someone leaves to join another recruitment firm, the view is 'they blamed their failures on us, they werent strong enough to survive' bla bla bla. I got lots of praise when I work there, the day before I resigned I was told I was doing a great job. Then I resigned the next morning and the staff were told I was fired! Absolutely ridiculous and unjust! Everyone is on different commission structures. It is so cowboy. There is no system. It is basically people join for false promises of equity but NONE of this exists now, it's too late. The whole biz model is built on getting as many people as possible to join so the valuation goes up so they can sell.

We take feedback at CGP very seriously as we find it an invaluable resource in constantly moving in the direction our employees agree with. That being said we feel the need to say we have reported this feedback to Glassdoor as being a fake review. We have had a string of damaging false reviews, the content of which would in-fact be accusing our company of illegal practice. We can prove this not to be true. We provide all equity through a secure and legal ESOP plan, we encourage any questions on this to be brought up with our CEO Chris Watkins, cw@cgptalent.com . Furthermore the reviews claim a recent turnover of staff, which again is provably false. By the language and the timing of the reviews we believe we know who the reviewer is: a single ex-employee who had to be let go due to misconduct and is now in a competitors company. We apologise for these reviews on our Glassdoor, we can only welcome people to come to our offices and speak to our employees to see the reality of our team here at CGP.

Pros

Open, flexible, multicultural environment, high potential to have a fast track career if you’re good and follow the training and direction.

Cons

Growth has been very very fast and so company growing pains are natural in areas such as corporate support and overall strategy/structure

Pros

Flexible working schedule. relaxing working environment

Cons

The working pace is pretty low there, also the salaries are quite low. Job is frustrating and boring. So it is hard to learn something from the job.

Thank you for reviewing your time at Cornerstone Global Partners. We are pleased to see that you enjoyed our flexible approach and fantastic working environment. It is important to us to cultivate a supportive and driven culture across the board, and we reward the hard work of our amazing team. Many of your comments do not reflect the experiences of most of our former team members. We continue to build a strong team of ambitious, hard working and brilliant individuals who achieve incredible results for our clients day to day. We also offer an unparalleled commission structure that ensures our team are well rewarded for their hard work. However, we recognise that not everyone is capable of the initiative and strong work ethic required for success in recruiting, and while we work hard to support our team members, many may find that this is not a career for them. We appreciate any constructive feedback and the opportunity to adapt and develop our practices as we continue to grow. We invite you to contact our HR Director Danielle at Danielle.Hu@cgptalent.com should you wish to discuss your feedback in a more formal setting.
