Pros

Not many, it was a step back in my career, overall.

Cons

“Leadership” is not empathetic or emotionally intelligent, overall. They cannot seem to give clear direction nor do they take advice from the experts in their respective fields. Instead they ask for advice then micro-manage the actual implementation. If you aren't working 12 hour days everyday or willing to put up with an extremely unhealthy work-life balance, you are viewed in a negative light. If you don’t “know insurance” you’re not truly respected, even if "knowing insurance" wasn't part of the job description or scope of work. The favoritism is excessive and blatant. Don't expect to work remotely unless you're a preferred member of the staff. If you aren't a favorite, I assure you that you are not privvy to the perks and benefits others are getting. They aren’t up-front or honest. They talk a good game but are not truly invested in the people they hire - most of the leadership will smile and say nice things, but when the doors close, they are more interested in cutting ties or terminating people than taking the time to design and develop adequate training programs. If you disagree, you're viewed as problematic - their "anonymous surveys" aren't taken seriously nor is the feedback addressed in a real way. Leadership takes ZERO action against workplace bullying and even contributes to it in many ways. I was told to "toughen up" and "grow thicker skin" on multiple occasions. Be wary of the positive reviews - they are definitely pushed upon new employees to fill out, filled out by management, or the "favorites."

Thank you for taking the time to review CMR on Glassdoor. CMR has always believed in work-life balance. It’s important to us that employees enjoy life outside of the office. That is why we offer unlimited PTO and do not encourage overtime work. We also allow all employees to work on a hybrid schedule, allowing flexibility. We can assure you that toxic behavior is not tolerated here. Thank you for your feedback and we would be open to speaking with you further offline to sincerely hear about your experience.

Pros

CMR puts employees ahead of corporate profits and it really shows by the amount of resources they deploy to not only make CMR the best place to work, but also by investing these resources into training and education to drive the very best out of everyone here.

Cons

CMR offers a hybrid working environment requiring employees to work in the office a minimum of two days per week. I would prefer if CMR would require employees to work full time in the office as I appreciate the collaboration with my fellow employees and find the experience working together even more enjoyable when everyone is here together.

Pros

CMR is a company that cares deeply about its culture and employees. Your ideas and suggestions are heard and encouraged. It is an incredibly enjoyable place to work. It is an unbelievably transparent company that shares revenue and profit margin goals with employees in real time, something I have never experienced before. It makes you feel like you have a stake in the overall success of the company.

Cons

Sometimes the workload can be heavy but that might just be the industry in general.
