Pros
-The people working at COLOR are all great, really fun to be around and super talented. -There are some opportunities to work on really fun / exciting / interesting projects that allow you to really flex your creative muscles. -The SLT at COLOR demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving the work environment for us employees. -Wednesday team lunches are a great way to spend in person time. -Overtime doesn't happen as often as it did in other companies I've worked at.
Cons
-The access to the company's server is a little out of date and difficult / slow to work with such a large team. -Due to the recent layoffs, there is job security fear that is felt by the employees when work is slow. -The large volume of different productivity and team tracking softwares used by the company makes onboarding a slow and tricky process. -The open bullpen workspace setup is not advantageous for video editors who tend to need privacy and quiet.
