Pros

Cook is owned by Dover Precision. Dover Provides a very robust benefits package. That is about it.

Cons

The company relies 100% on tribal knowledge and antiquated equipment. With no plan to update. Their bills to their vendors were over a year late. Their operating permits had expired for 2 years. A regional manager was disconnected entirely. Sales personnel that literally will scream at you. And yes, these are grown men. The regional manager decided to move all manufacturing out of state but continued to tell the customers that all machining was done in-house. Possibly, the out-of-state divisions operate differently, but as far as Cypress goes, avoid this place.

co workers have a great attitude. its not extremely strict as long as we get the work done. management recognizes good work ethic and does not drag you down.

sometimes hot jobs come in last minute or jobs become hot unexpectedly. but that's pretty much anywhere most work,

The company invests in networking and exposure to other plants and conventions

Not many opportunities for growth within the company. If someone leaves an opportunity will open and you will have to apply and interview just like other candidates. This does not guarantee a job.
