Pros

As a new hire, you travel to Germany to learn the system for 2 months or so along with other consultants from all over the world. You learn from their top managers and senior consultants. You meet lots of different people along the way.

Cons

When you get back to North America you are assigned to a support role. There was only a handful of consultants who besides one will give you zero support when you have questions. Everyone is focused on their billable hours. Support hours are not considered billable so the upper management starts scolding you for having no billables. On the other hand same upper management doesn't put you on a project or even let you shadow since they want the new consultant to answer calls all day. Management scolds the most trivial issues and so quick to fire employees. Unfortunately, this is a revolving door some of it boils down to how management treats employees. Instead of naturing talent, they are quick to hire the next person in line. The legacy system they use is good but not it is industry-specific and not many North American companies use it. So when you leave the knowledge transfer will be a challenge.

Pros

Entrepreneurial spirit, Global presence and German HQ. They had a niche and still do further processors of proteins like slaughter facilities, warehouses in in the food industry and US and Canada. I used to go to a lot of trade shows in that industry such as AMI. Good place to learn and create revenue for a software company with a niche. The Senior Management was very helpful in onboarding and how to present the software as a service and sell. Wishing them the best

Cons

Maybe centralize marketing to specific culture. As German HQ handed us our marketing materials and they were definitely more Germanic.
