Cons
Employees rarely get promoted at CSRS. There are lots people working at CSRS that have worked there for many years and when CSRS needs a person for a more senior level position, they hire someone from another company. Often the new hire has just as much or less experience than the employees that have been with CSRS for a decade or more. There is no such thing as seniority at CSRS. The partners at CSRS rarely speak to the employees too. They may walk pass you in a hallway and sometimes say hi, but rarely any more.
