Pros
The management has a lot of experience in Asian markets and a good understanding of sustainability situation in Singapore. The people that were employed at the same time period as I was, were bright, affectionate, passionate and wonderful team players. Without them, it would have been impossible to cope with the difficult working environment.
Cons
Already at the time of the interview, the impression was such that the management truly cares about its employees and that there is a real potential for growth and personal development. Unfortunately, the reality couldn't have been more different. The company's business is sustainability and social responsibility, but ironically it is neither responsible nor sustainable in any way. Just a few examples: the management refused to discuss or accept any other ideas; the attitude towards employees was very dis-empowering; the employees were micromanaged and manipulated. There is no diversity in the company as the management hires only women (a fact that is both, alarming and disturbing).
