Getting screamed at and belittled seems to be a norm within CTV News Channel and when you bring up an issue that happened, your manager just tells you “that’s just the way it is.” Over the years HR has done nothing about the complaints and it gives validation to all the behaviour in the news room. It is extremely common that you will not be able to take a lunch, or even a washroom break and will.
