Pros

Absolutely love working here! Everyone is so friendly, but the floor I work on in particular everyone gets on so well. I started here very junior and I have learnt so much and worked with some amazing people already. The social events are great, and the culture here as a whole is just very friendly. Best of all, the work-life balance here is great. You work only your set hours, and at 5:30 you’re free to walk out that door leaving work behind – that’s very rare nowadays. Would 100% recommend working at CV-Library!

Cons

Not really got a bad thing to say. All those moaning about not be able to use social media or their phones must be forgetting that they’re here to work, not browse Facebook all day. Some are clearly not happy with the rules put in place by management but at the end of the day, you get what you put in. If you work hard and are passionate about the business (as you should be anywhere you work) then you’ll be recognised for that.

Pros

Majority of people are kind and great to work with!

Cons

Be mindful that many of the positive reviews appear shortly after employees join, as new starters are encouraged to submit feedback on Glassdoor early on. This can sometimes result in overly optimistic perspectives that don’t fully reflect the longer-term experience. There is a noticeable divide in tenure across the company—some employees have been there for many years, while others tend to move on relatively quickly, creating a sense of inconsistency in team stability. The overall culture can feel somewhat outdated, with practices and expectations that may not align with more modern or flexible working environments. For example, lunch breaks are strictly scheduled, and there is limited flexibility around personal routines during the day. Use of mobile phones during working hours is also actively discouraged. At times, the atmosphere can feel tense, particularly around senior leadership, which may contribute to a sense of unease within the office. Additionally, differing targets across teams can lead to internal disputes, occasionally resulting in friction or office politics rather than collaboration. Finally, benefits are limited, particularly for newer employees, with more meaningful perks only becoming available after a longer tenure (5 years+).
