Pros
Benefits via Amazon are great however you're better off working directly through Amazon or working for a different contractor altogether.
Cons
Company quickly hires then promotes personal friends and family to management positions regardless of performance, qualifications or experience. Unrealistic expectations, especially during peak season, are enforced as standard despite management knowing what is actually doable. During high-volume shifts, management will make you feel like a failure until you're finished delivering despite oftentimes surpassing CWCC's and Amazon's expectations. Wage increases Amazon gives all drivers are withheld and pocketed unless you're the top performer or it's legally required (i.e. pandemic pay). Should drivers finish their assigned route ahead of schedule, management will assign other drivers' routes without additional compensation (ex. additional cents per package) unlike many of CWCC's competitors. Management including HR can be rude, disrespectful and generally uncomfortable to speak with when discussing any issues or difficult topics. Perhaps a few refresher courses on interpersonal communication and some counseling would be beneficial.
