Cons
Was once a great company that immediately went to hell after the merger. By far the worst place I've ever worked. Multiple EEOC and DOL violations. Manager wrote me up for a protected disability that she was aware of which is a direct violation of Title VII of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Civil Rights Act of 1964 for which I can sue and win. Currently seeking legal counsel. Was written up as I walked out the door for a vacation I had hoped, prayed and saved up for 2 years which is testament to the horrible, conniving new leadership there. Manager was condescending, belittling, even nasty at times, and wasn't happy until you understood everything on a fifth grade level. Seasoned mortgage and degreed professionals treated like children. After the merger no expectations were put in place but you were punished for working the same way for 4 years for the prior company. Department was assigned work in other time zones late in the day, requiring you to work past 7, 8, 9, 10pm with no warning. 7:00 is considered early. Working past 8pm is normal and department worked past midnight through Christmas. Multiple 60+ hour weeks with no warning. If you had to leave (after 7:00) then all your work is put on another employee requiring them to stay late into the night to finish your pipeline. Enormous stress, anxiety and chaos. Manager told me if I didn't like it to find another job...so I did. Company manages with coercive power (threats, intimidation, retaliation). They will work you to death like a prison camp and dehumanize you. No care for loyalty or tenure. Future employees beware.
