Pros
- Working fully remotely for the foreseeable future is an awesome perk. I feel much more productive in this setting.
- Unlimited PTO also gives us flexibility to do what's right when it comes to taking time away from work.
- Great team and culture. We are a small and tight-knit group. We are all interfacing with each other on a daily basis. Nobody brings an ego, and everyone is committed to the mission.
- CEO is awesome guy, has a strong technical background and is kind to everyone. Very transparent and lots of positive reinforcement.
- Market-rate salary, above-market equity package. Also includes an office setup reimbursement.
- The work we do on the technical side is unique, and challenging. I try to optimize my career for learning opportunities, and this has been a great one.
Cons
- The team is growing, but having a small team especially in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment is also challenging at times. The workload can be intense some weeks, and can only be distributed so much.
- Would like to see more team-building activities, especially since we are a fully-remote team and many of us have never even met in person.
