Pros

I dont find any Pros as per the CMM level certified company should have

Cons

1)HR never listen to you even if your cause is genuine 2)If you are silent and not shouting even fir small things ...manager will not recognize you 3)Lots of politics 4)If you are on local onsite and want to come back to Parent company .ie. Aricent they will never allow you to come back and will start showing lot of policies ..even you comeback they dont have any poject to assign and there are 90% chance of giving you Below performer 5)3 months notice period 6)GUYS EVEN IF YOU JOIN ARICENT ...PLZZZ DONT JOIN GURGAON OFFICE UNDER ALU BU(BUSINNES UNIT)THAT THE MOST WORST BU IN ARICENT . 7)CURRENT CEO IS FROM IBM ...HE HAS THE SAME POLICIES LIKE IBM ..WHEN WORK DONE ...FIRE

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
