Pros
Great office environment with a very close group of people. Everyone has each other's backs and will help you out when push comes to shove. It really gave me an opportunity to grow as an employee.
Cons
Expectations are sometimes out of alignment with reality and/or a feasible work-life balance. To do well you really have to put in more than 40 hours a week, which didn't really equate to the amount I was being paid. Sometimes the individuals asking for your help were very demanding and didn't understand the amount of pressure you're under or the amount of work on your plate. It's very difficult to tell other business owners "I can't fix that right this second due to X, Y, and Z," without some backlash.
